1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Business Event Stack (the “service”). If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows the current version, and continued use means you accept the changes.

2. The service

Business Event Stack is a directory, calendar and map of business networking events, run region by region. We aim to keep it accurate and available but provide it “as is”, and we may change or withdraw features at any time.

3. Your account

• To add or manage listings you may need to create an account and provide accurate, up-to-date details.
• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without permission.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

4. Listing events, organisers and venues

• You must have the right to publish the information you submit, and it must be accurate and not misleading.
• Listings are for genuine business networking events. We may review, edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion.
• You're responsible for keeping your listings current, including dates, prices and booking links.
• By submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote it on the service and related channels.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringing content.
• Submit spam, or events that aren't genuine networking events.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your connection to an organiser or venue.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-download data, or disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Misuse personal data of attendees or other users.

6. Your content and our brand

You keep ownership of the content you submit and remain responsible for it. The Business Event Stack name, logo and design are ours and may not be used without permission.

7. Third-party events and links

We're a directory: events are run by independent organisers and venues. We don't organise them and aren't responsible for them, their bookings, prices or any links they provide. Always check the details with the organiser before attending or paying.

8. Availability and no warranty

We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that listings are complete or accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or from attending or listing events. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
